Connecting USB Devices at Charter College
1. Turn the computer on and log-on.
2. The USB port is located next to the headphone plug-in at the front of the computer. Plug your USB Flash Drive into the USB port.
3. The computer will recognize your device and label it as Drive “F”.
4. A window will pop up listing the files currently stored on your USB Flash Drive. The USB Flash Drive is now ready to use.
5. To disconnect a USB Flash Drive, right click the USB Device icon in the lower right corner of the task bar and select disconnect or eject from the options.
6. To remove a USB Flash Drive - unplug it from the computer – that is all.
